Hi.
Basicly, i have a really crappy setup on this laptop which is the only computer that i have that i can do sequencing in, and i don't even have a interfaface for it.
I use qws for sequencing and vsampler to load soundfonts.
My question is, is there any way that i can have vsampler load more than one font? For example if i have one piano track in qws and one drum track and i send them both through the midi kable that vsampler gives me, atm i can only have one piano font loaded, so i have to put up with the gs wave kit.
Any way i can get around this?
Hope i explained it good enough, thanks,
BEN.
I'd suggest using sfz then you could load an entire sound font bank. You should be able to load 16 channels of midi and rmap your drum program patch with a sound font editor. This is why sfz is good because you can edit the text file that provides the key map in your sequencer when you load an sfz sound into it. I'd suggest getting hypersonic 2 though. You'd get tons of high quality sounds. You should get an m audio or evolution USB midi controller keyboard. You can get them pretty cheap then you'd have some hands on control.
